“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”  -Matthew 28:19-20

“Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart.  Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are way, when you life down and when your rise.  Bind them as a sign on your hand, fix them as an emblem on your forehead, and write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” -Deuteronomy 6:6-9

At Lutheran Church of Hope (LCHope), we believe that all of us are on a journey following Jesus together.  That’s our discipleship journey.  This journey is something we do together, both learning and sharing stories, experiences, and knowledge, whether we are young or old.  Our faith formation and discipleship ministries are rooted in the Five Principals of Faith Formation as presented by Dr. David Anderson and Dr. Paul Hill that faith is formed and passed on to others though trusted relationships and through a strong partnership of congregation and the home.

Our discipleship journey and faith formation is the foundation to all we do as people of Hope, who follow Jesus.  So together, we learn about God’s grace.  And together, we share God’s grace with the world.
