About Us
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

Lutheran Church of Hope is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA)

The ELCA as a denomination is a church that shares a living, daring confidence in God's grace. Liberated by our
faith, ELCA Congregations embrace you as a whole person — questions, complexities and all. The ELCA is the largest north american lutheran church body with roughly 4.6 million baptized members.

As part of the ELCA, Lutheran Church of Hope is connected to over 10,000 other congregations throughout the United States, and together both regionally in synods, and nationally as a churchwide body, is able to participate in global missions, respond to domestic and international disasters and epidemics, educate future leaders of the church, begin new mission starts domestically and regionally, and stand against injustice, striving for peace throughout the world.
