What to Expect

Within our congregation, we are young and old, married and single, divorced and widowed and we have many children of all ages. We are a congregation of different people, but we are family.

While we are sincere in our faith, our atmosphere is relaxed. Some wear jeans, some wear shorts, and some wear dresses and ties.We pray, sing, listen, speak...sometimes we cry, and sometimes we laugh. We are the people of God.

We welcome children in our worship and yes, they make some noise, and that is okay – there are children’s activity bags near the entrance to our worship space. We have a nursery with supervised care that is always available as well as a cry room.

During our services, we use a bulletin to help you follow along. Our hymnbook has what we call "settings" in the beginning of the book. These lead us through the liturgy and we generally use the same setting for a length of time. Our bulletin lists the page number for the setting each Sunday.

All are welcome at the Communion table in our worship services. We believe that Christ himself commanded Christians to share the salvation that was given for us and shed for us in his body and blood.

On an average Sunday, we share a great deal of fellowship in our Fellowship Hall across from the Nave, in the narthex, and in the gathering area of our Early-Childhood Center which is near our Sunday School classrooms.

Please feel free to join us for a cup of coffee, a snack, and some conversation after our 9:00am worship liturgy.

Our doors are always open to guests, so please join us for worship or an upcoming event!
