Worship
Music Ministry

David and all the house of Israel were dancing before the Lord with
all their might, with songs and lyres and harps and tambourines and castanets
and cymbals.”  - 2 Samuel 6:52 Samuel 6:5

Martin Luther once said that music is the ‘fifth gospel.’  So music is a vital part of the worship
life at Lutheran Church of Hope.  Through music we can praise God with thanksgivings, pray to God with concerns, and hear God speaking to us.  All this through singing, dance, and the playing of musical instruments.

Chancel Choir: Come and be a member of this exciting group that sings diverse styles of music. Don’t worry…we all have varying talent and abilities. We usually sing the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, leading the congregation in song as well as offering a special musical anthem.  Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:00pm.  Contact Kenda Meyer at kendame@lchope.org

Bells of Hope Choir: Come and ring, shake, strike, and swirl bells with us as we offer musical numbers for worship at least once a month and on special occasions.  We have four octaves of handbells and a 3 octave tone chime set we use as well.  Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 6:oopm.
