Sunday Morning Education

From the beginning, the church has always gathered on Sunday morning, the day of Jesus’ resurrection.  On Sundays at Lutheran Church of Hope (LCHope), we gather primarily for worship, as well as for fellowship and opportunities to grow in our faith.  Sunday Morning Educational opportunities are available throughout the traditional academic year (September through May).

For Pre-k (3 years old) through 5th Grade - BLAST -  Incorporated into our four part worship liturgy of Gathering, Word, Meal, Sending, BLAST or Bible Learning Adventures Together ... meets during worship.  Kids are escorted out of worship after announcements for their time in the Word and then return to worship for offering and the Eucharist.  We divide the group in ages of pre-school-2nd grade and 3rd thru 5th grade.

Middle and High School Youth - 'Breakfast Club' - Meets out in the Annex after worship for donuts, conversation, study, and reflections on life as a pre-teen/teen Christian in today's world.  Led by different authentic, affirming, and available adults each week.

Adults:  Not regularly scheduled every Sunday morning, from time to time there are discussions and multi-Sunday classes (similar to a seminar) centered around one topic or a range of topics.  Check the church calendar for the latest Sunday Morning adult education offerings.
