Ms. Marlys Dufour – Minister of Administration

Marlys Dufour has been working at Lutheran Church of Hope since late 1996.  She lives in nearby Westminster with her husband of 31 years, Christian.  They have two grown married children.  Her daughter, Nicholette, is currently working for Head Start in northern Colorado and her son, Andrew who recently graduated from KU law school, lives in Kansas.  There are three other living beings with Marlys and Chris – their three dogs, Buddy, Quincy and Patches – they help keep the yard free of squirrels and rabbits all the while playing fetch with their favorite tennis or soccer ball.

In her spare time Marlys enjoys spending time with her family, reading a good suspense thriller, winning at a good game of canasta or catching up on her favorite television show.  She looks forward to her ladies night out once a month playing BUNCO.  In the summer she enjoys a nice bbq and spending time in her backyard, and then in the winter she enjoys curling up by the fire with Patches fighting over the warmth of the fire.

Marlys is excited to see all the positive changes at LCH – and can’t wait to see what is to come.
