Feasibility Study Completion, Summary and Recommendation
On Saturday, October 22nd after a pause to complete the feasibility study, our building team and other congregational committees met with consultant Rudi Pakendorf of Walsh and Associates. Mr. Pakendorf presented a summary of the feasibility study with a recommendation to start a capital campaign soon. The suggested monetary goals Mr. Pakendorf shared started at a $2.5 million minimum initial goal followed by a $5 million challenge level and a $7 million ultimate goal. The findings of the study compiled through LCHope member interviews were fairly positive with high levels in the areas of satisfaction, project awareness, project acceptance, campaign awareness and campaign acceptance. The first of multiple congregational meetings was held Sunday, October 23rd to share a summary of the findings with our members.
